The most important facts

Duration: about 8 hours
Participants: max. 8 persons per group
Precondition: Because of the challenging programme, participants must have completed one basic car training at least.

Vehicles: you can use your own car or one of the Sachsenring-Driftvehicles (each car has to be shared by 2 drivers)
If you use your own car, the fee will be reduced by 90.- €

THE SACHSENRING DRIFT-CARS: available are:
- 4 BMWs 320i E 36 with 150 hp, rear-wheel drive, KW-sports chassis, roll cage, integral moulded seats, five-point harness.
- 2 Mitsubishis EVO IX with 295 hp, 4WD

The fee includes: petrol, fully comprehensive insurance (with an excess of 3,000 Euros incl. VAT in case of damage)
Technical defects are the organiser’s responsibility unless negligence on the part of the driver can be proven.

Come to the Sachsenring and let your dream come true! Follow in the tracks of Loeb adn Groenholm when you drift round the corners on an ingenious handling course. With its selective race tracks and natural up- and down-hill parts the Sachsenring offers ideal conditions for challenging drift trainings.

Experienced instructors – all of them successful in motor sports – are a guarantee for unforgettable moments and (driving) fun on the highest level.

Programme

1. Theory of drifting: driving physics, technique and equipment

2. Practical training:

• Circular track: how to start, control and end a drift
• Drift handling course: maintaining the drift through a figure 8, weight-shift drifting, drifting round a 500-metre circular track
• Omega bend of the Sachsenring race track: Use your new skills at higher speeds!
• Sachsenring circuit (short track): free drifting on the 2.1-km-long circuit.
