Verkehrssicherheitszentrum Sachsenring - in Zusammenarbeit mit dem ADAC-Sachsen

REGISTRATION
Lorry and bus trainings on the Sachsenring are possible only for groups.
A group consists of 8 to 10 participants.
Up to 5 lorry respectively bus groups can train on the Sachsenring simultaneously.
Dates will be fixed with you in accordance with your wishes and availability.

VEHICLES
Participants in lorry and bus trainings on the Sachsenring always have to provide their own vehicles because only this condition guarantees that lessons learned can be optimally applied in real life. One vehicle may be used by two drivers. Ideally, a group of 10 persons should be equipped with 5 vehicles; the necessary minimum is 3.

TRAINING FACILITIES AND EQUIPMENT
The practical parts of the training will take place on flooded slippery surfaces, which resemble conditions on snow-covered roads. Thus, vehicles tend to react quite strongly even at low speeds without putting much stress on vehicle or tyres.

Most tracks are equipped with speed-measuring devices. Therefore, participants can see how even small changes in speed influence their vehicles’ reaction.

In order to create realistic problem situations unexpectedly and with a minimum of risk to driver or vehicle, several training tracks have computer-controlled water obstacles that may suddenly appear. The latter are computer-controlled and adapted to the various training levels.

During the practical exercises, all participants are in radio contact with their instructor. Thus the latter can provide individual and situation-specific advice and explain the connection between cause and effect immediately.

FOOD
A successful training should always include food and drink, preferably in a pleasant atmosphere. At the Sachsenring, Beierleins Cafeteria and the Boxenstop restaurant are always the right places if you and guests want to relax.

ADVERTISING
In connection with a lorry or bus safety training, participating companies may display their own flags, banners etc. both on the grounds of the Sachsenring Road Safety Centre and as decorations in the rooms used (seminary rooms, event hall etc.)
